Cabot Mill

In 1853 the Cabot Company, of the Cabot family from Boston, Massachusetts, bought the factory. Due to a large amount of debt and a number of the shareholders failing to pay their assessments, it was sold at auction in 1857. A number of the former owners bought up the stock and re-organized under the name of The Cabot Manufacturing Company (also known as Cabot Mill), with a capital of $400,000. From Wikipedia
