50 Years of Underwater Photography, with Bill Curtsinger and Brian Skerry will be a documentary by Jake Jakubowski about pioneering photographer Bill Curtsinger and Primetime Emmy Award winning Producer Brian Skerry, two world renowned underwater photographers. Discover their National Geographic careers and what has inspired them throughout their lives. They have over 20,000 hours dive time between the two of them.
Inspired by the upcoming book 50 Years of Underwater Photography with text by Kenneth Brower.

Bill Curtsinger
Bill Curtsinger is an American photographer and writer who publishes on underwater photography and natural history subjects. Curtsinger has photographed thirty-five articles, including six cover stories for National Geographic as well as a cover story for Life. His photos have also appeared in Smithsonian, Natural History, various scientific journals and a number of books worldwide.
Brian Skerry
Brian Skerry is an American photojournalist and film producer specializing in marine life and ocean environments. Since 1998 he has been a contributing photographer for National Geographic magazine with more than 30 stories to his credit, including 6 covers. In 2021 Skerry won a Primetime Emmy Award for his role as producer in the miniseries, Secrets of the Whales.
Kenneth Brower
Kenneth Brower is an American writer known for his natural environment writings. His published works include articles with the National Geographic Society, The Atlantic Monthly, Smithsonian, Audubon, and several other periodicals. Brower's articles have appeared in National Geographic, National Geographic Books, National Geographic Traveler, National Geographic History & Culture (online) and National Geographic Adventure.
